Maintenance Manager

We are partnering with a growing, mid-sized manufacturer to find a hands-on Maintenance Manager for their facility in the Rockville area. This person will build process structures, implement preventive maintenance, and elevate overall equipment reliability and team performance. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on the production floor—not behind a desk.

You will get to:

• Build and implement structured preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Establish clear maintenance processes and KPIs
• Improve uptime, reliability, and production output
• Lead spare parts management and purchasing
• Oversee capex projects
• Develop technicians and shift supervisors into stronger technical leaders

This is an ideal role for a strong technician ready to step into management—or a seasoned maintenance leader who still enjoys being hands-on.

• Proven maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on technical background (mechanical/electrical troubleshooting)
• Experience implementing preventive maintenance systems from the ground up
• Experience managing spare parts inventory and capital projects, preferably
• Comfortable working on the production floor daily
• Process-driven mindset with the ability to build structures where they don’t exist
