Position
Purpose:
Provide nursing case management, directly observed therapy and education to patients with suspected or confirmed active tuberculosis (TB) disease. Conduct targeted TB testing, arrange follow‑up evaluation and treatment, dispense TB medications, maintain pharmacy inventory, and document all results in electronic and paper records. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance. Work day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs while wearing an N‑95 respirator.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. - Experience:
None required.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nursing classification or nursing/health care specialist codes, converted one year for each year of required education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with case management of patients with active tuberculosis and latent tuberculosis infection.
- Experience assessing patients using the nursing process and critical thinking skills.
- Experience making home visits with appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Experience with electronic medical records and data entry software.
- Fluency in Spanish, or another language, in addition to English.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
- License to operate a motor vehicle valid in the State of Maryland (if assigned duties requiring vehicle operation).
