Rockville Rehab seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Rehabilitation Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and families through the continuum of care while advancing their knowledge and skills through feedback and guidance from more senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Serve as role models to LevelI nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify Adventist Health Care values in nursing practice.
- Use equipment and technology correctly, delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately, and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
- Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action.
- Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient‑centered care.
- Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
- Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings appropriately to practice.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in evidence‑based change of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Passing NCLEX score.
- Minimum one year of RN experience.
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as required by specialty area.
Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Typical daily shift from 6:45AM to 7:15PM, with weekend requirements. Shift differential is available. Pay range: $37.00 to $55.00 per hour.
