Adventist Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Forensic Medical Unit who will provide compassionate care while advancing their own nursing skills. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to patient-centered care and professional development.

• Pay: $37.00 - $55.00
• Location: Rockville, MD
• Facility: Shady Grove Medical Center
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly to maximize efficiency.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.

• Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing program.

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.

• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
