About This Role

Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for their NICU Department. This part‑time night shift position is ideal for those who are passionate about providing compassionate care and mentoring others in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Pay: $37.00 - $55.00
• Location: Rockville, MD
• Facility: Shady Grove Medical Center
• Schedule: Variable Part‑time, Night shift

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non‑nursing duties.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient’s centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Licenses &

  • Current Maryland State nursing license
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
