Registered Nurse (RN), Per Diem Day Shift, Float Pool ll

Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for their Float Pool II Department. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to providing compassionate care and are looking to advance their skills in a supportive environment.

  Per Diem, Day shift

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties appropriately.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Maryland State nursing license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
