The Village at Rockville is a mission-driven not-for-profit organization with 50 Assisted Living Apartments. NLCS is a highly rated skilled nursing operation providing cutting-edge and high-quality health care services for elders in the Rockville community.
What will I do as the Assisted Living Program Manager?
As the Assisted Living Program Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of compassionate care at The Village 'll empower your team to perform at their best, ensure residents receive outstanding clinical support, and help shape the next chapter in a community known for its legacy of excellence and innovation in senior living.
- Supervise the assisted living nursing service program to ensure high-quality care for residents.
- Manage clinical oversight of resident care in assisted living and memory support.
- Report to physicians, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives as needed.
- Complete resident assessments and care plans.
- Provide staff training.
- Ensure resident records are maintained and updated.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident care.
- Coordinate resident transfers to appropriate care settings.
- Maintain compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.
Qualifications:
- LPN licensed required in the state of Maryland
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and, Adult First Aid from the American Red Cross and/or American Heart Association
- 2 years' experience in a health care related field and successful completion of the 80-hour assisted living manager training program (Maryland only)
- Must be considerate and respectful of the rights, dignity and sensitivities of aged and disabled persons
- Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience in long term care facility or assisted living facility (Virginia only)
- Must be proficient with a computer to include utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medication administration record (eMAR) as well as Microsoft Office
