Initial 3-month assignment with strong potential for extension
At Kolon Tissue Gene, Inc. (KTG), we’re advancing science to transform lives. Our Discovery Research team is seeking a Researcher (R&D) to support cutting‑edge projects in cell and molecular biology. This role is designed as a short‑term assignment (3 months) with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. It’s an excellent opportunity for an experienced researcher to make an immediate impact in a high‑performing cross‑functional team.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods such as cell counting & viability, ELISA, flow cytometry, cell‑based potency assays, and qPCR.
- Maintain cell cultures and generate cell banks for assay use.
- Independently plan, execute, and analyze complex experiments, drawing conclusions and reporting findings.
- Prepare data summaries, present results to supervisors, and contribute to technical documentation (SOPs, protocols, reports).
- Support lab operations by maintaining supplies, equipment, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Education: BS or MS in Biology or related discipline.
- Experience: 2‑3 years of laboratory experience in cell and molecular biology techniques.
- Strong expertise with cell‑based assays, ELISA, flow cytometry, and qPCR.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and routine cell culture work.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- A self‑motivated, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
