Antibody Engineering Scientist

A leading biotechnology company is growing their Antibody Engineering team and is in search of a talented scientist with extensive knowledge in guided phage display and antibody discovery technology advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and progress innovative phage display techniques — including guided selection methods, structure-informed panning, and epitope-driven strategies — broadening platform capabilities beyond traditional campaign execution.
• Utilize deep mutational scanning and NGS-based repertoire analysis to gain mechanistic understanding, guide library design, and construct predictive models of antibody fitness landscapes.
• Create novel phage display selection approaches for complex targets like membrane proteins and conformational epitopes.
• Contribute to intellectual property and innovation in the field through inventorship and impactful publications.
• Collaborate with structural biology to utilize cryo-EM, crystallography, and molecular dynamics data for informed, structure-guided engineering choices.
• Incorporate AI/ML and computational tools into phage display workflows utilizing generative protein design, protein language models, and in silico affinity prediction to expedite lead discovery and optimization.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Molecular Biology or related discipline.
• Experience in advanced phage display with focus on method and technology development.
• Strong track record of impactful publications is preferred.
• Interest in bridging experimental and computational antibody engineering.
