Customer Service Rep, Retail & Store Manager

As a supervisor and a part of our front-end staff, you will lead employees by example by proactively approaching and offering help to customers, bringing in and organizing shopping carts from the outside parking lot, and helping to run register as necessary to minimize customer wait time.
You will delegate tasks to team members, and ensure the safety and appearance of the front-end and parking lot areas are being maintained.
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
- Delegate tasks to team members, and ensure efficient daily operations
- Partner and communicate with members of inside front-end team, to ensure your team is effectively assisting customers in a timely manner
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot
- Customer service experience
- Collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting
- Managerial/supervisory experience living our values and achieving results in our 5 measures

Work Environment:
The physical demands of this work are classified as light to medium. Work includes standing, walking for long periods, bending, pushing and pulling, moving, and lifting, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. May be asked to work at regular cash register station (see Cashier). The average weight range of items lifted, pushed, or pulled is 20–35 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely.
Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. May receive assistance with heavy items, if available. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is mostly outdoors with seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather. Basic tools and equipment used include shopping carts, Billy Goat, Mart Cart, snow blower, shovel, property maintenance equipment.
