We currently have an opportunity for a Personal Lines Inside Sales Producer to join the Mid-Atlantic team.
The Person al Lines Inside Sales Producer is an office-based sales professional responsible for achieving new business sales goals by working with inbound leads, agency referrals, and established lead sources. This role focuses on converting qualified leads into new clients through phone consultations, virtual meetings, and efficient quote-to-bind processes. The Inside Sales Producer provides professional expertise and service to personal lines clients in accordance with the practices, policies, and procedures of HUB International.
Unlike the Outside Sales Producer who operates primarily in the field through prospecting and networking, the Inside Sales Producer works from the office handling inbound leads, phone-based consultations, and agency-generated referrals. This role emphasizes high-volume lead conversion, efficient quote turnaround, and phone-based relationship building rather than face‑to‑face prospecting and community networking.
Job Responsibilities Sales & Lead Management- Achieve new business sales goals as established by management.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads from agency marketing efforts, website inquiries, and referral sources.
- Work leads generated by commercial lines producers, account managers, and other agency staff.
- Maintain consistent communication with lead source generators to ensure timely follow-up.
- Track and manage lead pipeline through agency management system.
- Meet daily and weekly activity metrics for calls, quotes, and policies bound.
- Conduct phone and virtual consultations to assess client insurance needs and gather necessary information.
- Perform accurate and thorough reviews of client coverage, exposures, and pricing.
- Prepare competitive quotes across multiple carriers using comparative rating systems.
- Communicate coverage recommendations clearly and help clients understand their options.
- Negotiate favorable coverages and rates on behalf of clients.
- Process applications, bind coverage, and ensure timely policy issuance in compliance with HUB broker standards.
- Maintain working knowledge of all available personal lines products including homeowners, auto, umbrella, watercraft, recreational vehicles, and specialty coverages.
- Stay current on carrier underwriting requirements, appetites, and guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of policy provisions, endorsements, and coverage changes.
- Keep current with industry trends through trade publications, company bulletins, and educational opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional lines of coverage to new and existing clients.
- Quote and bind multi-policy packages to maximize client retention and household premium.
