Job Description

M.R. Electricians of Maryland is looking for an experienced Electrical Service Technician (Journeyman Certified) to deliver professional electrical services to residential and light commercial customers. You’ll identify problems, explain solution options, and ensure every project meets quality and safety standards.

This position pays $60,000–$120,000 annually
, depending on experience, and includes medical insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and a 401(k) program.

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, wiring, and devices
• Provide flat-rate pricing options and explain solutions clearly
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work spaces
• Document all job information accurately
• Train and guide apprentices during service calls
• Inspect existing systems for safety or upgrade needs
• Operate company vehicle safely and professionally
• Obtain necessary materials for service completion

• Active Journeyman Electrician License
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• 3+ years experience in electrical field
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial systems
• Familiarity with Service Fusion software (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work safely with tools
• Must pass background check
