Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting multiple locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:HVAC Technician
Location: Rockville, MD
Pay: $33-$36/hr
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and other facility systems across multiple sites.
- Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Travel between various facilities to ensure proper functioning of all mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, readings, and adjustments.
- Monitor and oversee the work of outside contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
