JobOverview:
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hot tubs, swim spas, and related equipment. This role combines technical expertise with excellent customer service to ensure every repair and maintenance visit meets Capital Hot Tubs’ standards.
Compensation Range: $24.00 - $26.00 /HourlyCompensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues in spas, hot tubs, saunas, covanas, and accessories.
- Install and replace components such as pumps, heaters, and control systems.
- Complete scheduled maintenance and warranty service.
- Accurately document all work performed and parts used.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, estimates, and recommendations.
- Maintain your service vehicle and keep inventory properly stocked.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and service protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- Experience with hot tubs, pools, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- This role includes frequent kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Work may take place outdoors year-round with exposure to water and electrical components. You’ll need to safely use tools and work in tight spaces when needed.
