Asa Journeyperson Electrician ,youwillbringyourlicensedskillandcraftsmanshiptocommercialelectricalprojectsthroughouttheDMVarea,workingalongsideour

Lead Journeyperson sand Forementoinstall ,maintain,troubleshoot,andrepairelectricalsystemsinthefield.

Youwillalsorunoccasionalservicecallsasschedulingandcustomerneedsrequire.

Thisisaskilledtraderole—youwilldothehands-oneelectricalworkoftheprojectwithouttheresponsibilityofleadingacrewormanagingtheoveralljob.

Youwill,however,mentorandtrainassignedapprenticesonthetasksyouperformtogether.

Ifyoutakeprideinyourcraft,wanttokeepgrowingyourtechnicalskills,andwanttoworkforacompanythatvaluesthetrade,thisroleisforyou.

• Install,maintain,andrepairelectricalwiring,fixtures,panels,andequipmentoncommercialprojectsitesthroughouttheDMVarea.
• Installconduitsystems,feeder wire,andelectricalpanelsinaccordancewiththeNECandapplicablelocalcodes.
• Troubleshootelectricalissueson-siteandprovideeffective,code-compliant solutions.
• Identifyandresolvesafetyhazardsandcodeviolationsduringeverytaskandprojectphase.
• Readandinterpretelectricaldrawings,blueprints,andschematicstoguideinstallationandtroubleshootingwork.
• Measure,cut,andbendconduittofitvariousinstallations.
• PerformsafetychecksonelectricalequipmenttoensurecompliancewiththeNECandallapplicablesafetyregulations.
• Runoccasionalcommercialorresidentialservicecallsasschedulingandcustomerneedsrequire.
• Train,mentor,andprovidehands-onguidancetoassignedapprenticesinelectricalwork,applicable codes,andsafeworkpractices.
• Workcooperativelywiththe Lead Journeypersonor Foremanonassignedprojectstoexecutethedailyplanandmeetjobscheduleandqualityexpectations .
• Communicateproactivelywiththe Lead Journeypersonor Foremanregardingprogress ,on-site issues,andanyneededmaterials.
• Assistincoordinatingelectricalworkwithothertradesandsubcontractorson-sitetoavoidconflictsandsupportefficientexecution.
• Maintainaclean,organized,andsafeworkenvironmentthroughouteachproject.
• Represent the Companywithprofessionalismandintegritywheninteractingwithcustomers,general contractors,subcontractors,and inspectors.
• Adheretoallcompanypolicies,OSHA standards,safety protocols,and,whenoperatingacompanyvehicle,allapplicablevehiclepoliciesandtrafficlaws.

• Valid Maryland State Journeyperson Electrician License (oravalidlicensefromastatewithMarylandreciprocity),withaminimumof2yearsofcommercialelectricalfieldexperience.(Required)
• High School Diplomaor GED.(Required)
• Strongworkingknowledgeofthe National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable
  
  Maryland and Montgomery County codes .(Required)
• Demonstratedabilitytoreadandinterpreteelectricalblueprints,drawings,andprojectspecifications.(Required)
• Valid driver'slicensewithacleandrivingrecord.(Required)
• Abilitytopassabackgroundcheckanddrugtest.(Required)
• Strongproficiencyin English—bothwrittenandverbal—toensureeffectivecommunicationwithcustomers,team members,andtheoffice.(Required)
• Abilitytoworkwithhandtoolsandsafelyoperatepowertools.(Required)
• Abilitytolift
  50+pounds,squat,bend,andclimbladdersasrequiredbythejob.(Required)
• Strongtroubleshootingandproblem-solving skills,withattentiontodetail.(Required)
• WillingnesstotraveldailytojobsiteswithintheDMVservicearea.(Required)

• OSHA
  10orOSHA
  30certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Priorexperiencementoringapprentices.
• Experience with Service Fusionorsimilarfieldservicemanagementsoftware .
• Residentialelectricalserviceexperience—helpfulforoccasionalservicecallassignments.
