# Housing and Benefits Specialist ACT - rockville, MD 20850## Overview Salary Range $19.24 - $21.64 Hourly## Description Cornerstone – Housing Specialist Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

Responsibilities of the Housing Specialist with the ACT Team
* Supports clients with finding and maintaining safe and affordable housing
* Provides ongoing assistance to help clients apply for, understand and manage their benefits
* Ensure maximum acquisition of entitlements and other forms of assistance for all clients served by the ACT team
* Provide operational administrative support to the ACT team.
* Assists clients in maintaining employment by frequent visits to the work site## Qualifications Qualifications of the Housing Specialist with the ACT Team
* Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of case management experience preferred
* Experience working with the population of serious mental illness in the capacity of case management, integrated care coordination, and medical office organization strongly preferred
* Driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a vehicle for work purposes. Transporting clients in personal vehicle is required.
