In this role you will build scalable and secure APIs, integrate AI/ML capabilities, and deploy solutions within AWS cloud environments. Clearance Requirement

REQUIRED – must have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure Python-based APIs.
  • Integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into operational mission applications.
  • Deploy, optimize, and monitor solutions using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and Dev Sec Ops  teams to ensure seamless system and application integration.
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable code in alignment with Quevera engineering practices.
  • Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement within agile sprint cycles.
Required Qualifications
  • Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent experience (four (4) years of additional SWE experience on similar projects).
  • Knowledge of Python in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST.
  • Strong proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and scaling production APIs.
  • Hands‑on experience deploying, securing, and monitoring applications in AWS.
  • Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into production applications or services.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaborative mindset.
