Praescient Analytics is seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Java Developer with React experience to support a critical national security mission with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). In this role, you will provide direct development and engineering support for the National Industrial Security System (NISS), a secure, cloud‑based system of record used to manage and oversee industrial security for contractors working with classified U.S. government information.

Operating within an AWS environment, you will bridge secure backend architecture with modern, responsive user interfaces, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of systems that protect our nation’s most sensitive data.

• Full‑Stack Development: Design, build, test, and deploy robust, scalable web applications using Java for backend services and React for dynamic, intuitive frontend interfaces.
• Cloud Architecture Integration: Develop, optimize, and maintain application features directly within an AWS cloud environment, leveraging managed cloud services for performance and security.
• Mission‑Critical Engineering: Collaborate on the continuous modernization and maintenance of NISS, ensuring the platform remains highly secure, responsive, and available for federal and industry stakeholders.
• API & Service Layer Management: Build and consume secure RESTful APIs to connect backend data layers with the user interface.

• Clearance & Citizenship: Active U.S. Secret clearance is required. Must be a U.S. Citizen to meet federal contract mandates.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of professional software development experience.

  Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher) and enterprise frameworks such as Spring Boot or Hibernate.

  Hands‑on experience building user interfaces with React.js, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML5, and CSS

• Cloud Environment: Practical experience working within, deploying to, or managing applications inside an Amazon Web Services (AWS) framework.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical teammates.
