We are seeking a Jr Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of complex software systems within a collaborative engineering environment. This role involves building scalable applications, integrating modern technologies, and supporting both frontend and backend development efforts.

The ideal candidate has experience with C++ and Python development, modern web technologies, containerization, and database platforms, along with a strong interest in developing innovative and mission-focused technical solutions.### Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain full stack software applications and services
* Develop backend functionality using C++, Python, Java, and related technologies
* Build and maintain frontend applications using Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks
* Develop and support database solutions using MongoDB and SQL-based technologies
* Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
* Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design and performance solutions
* Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues
* Integrate software into new and existing systems and environments
* Develop database queries and support data processing activities
* Participate in software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
* Contribute to software documentation and process improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle

Required Qualifications
* Must be fully cleared with a recent MD polygraph
* Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Strong programming experience with C++ and Python
* Experience with Java development
* Experience working with MongoDB and SQL databases
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience developing frontend applications using Angular, HTML, and Java Script
* Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Desired Qualifications
* Experience working with distributed systems or cloud-based environments
* Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
* Experience supporting data-intensive or real-time applications
