We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-native applications within a modern AWS environment. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex business problems, challenging conventional approaches, and driving technical innovation across multiple enterprise applications.

You will work within a shared engineering organization that supports a portfolio of applications spanning front-end, back-end, and cloud services. The ideal candidate combines deep AWS expertise with strong software engineering fundamentals, a solution-oriented mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services on AWS.
• Architect and implement solutions for complex business and technical challenges.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems using logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring tools.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Collaborate across engineering teams supporting multiple enterprise applications.
• Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in production support and incident response activities.

• Strong solutioning mindset with the ability to architect scalable technical solutions.
• Expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to navigate complex AWS environments and distributed systems.
• Experience analyzing logs, metrics, and traces to resolve production issues.

• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

• 8 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in production environments.
• Experience participating in incident response and production support rotations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
• Serverless architecture experience
• Git Lab CI/CD expertise
• Experience working within regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government
