We are looking for an upbeat, solution-focused engineer to join us in designing, optimizing, and scaling next‑generation cloud architectures and big data analytics platforms.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between robust software development and scalable cloud infrastructure. From writing efficient pipeline code to managing secure distributed databases and deploying infrastructure as code, your contributions will ensure our mission systems run smoothly and efficiently.
The annual base salary range for this role is $186,000–$220,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
Required Skills- Core Software Development: strong, hands‑on development experience using Java and Python to build scalable applications and data pipelines.
- Big Data Ecosystems: deep technical experience working with Hadoop frameworks for distributed storage and processing.

SQL Database Management: proven experience writing and optimizing data layers with Accumulo. - Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: direct experience developing within AWS cloud environments combined with provisioning infrastructure via Terraform.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent professional experience with 14 years of experience, or 18 years of relevant experience.
Desired Skills- Experience managing data serialization and distributed stream processing tools.
- A proactive approach to troubleshooting big data performance bottlenecks and optimizing cloud resources.
- Strong communication skills with a team‑first mindset, focused on delivering clear, actionable technical solutions.
