Agentic AI Engineer – Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced machine learning engineer to join our national security team and support a high‑visibility Booz Allen product designed for network analysts. You will train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data, contribute to the direction of mission‑critical solutions by applying ML algorithms and technologies, and collaborate with software developers, analysts, and leaders to deliver world‑class solutions and define ML strategy for national security.

• 1+ years of experience within Machine Learning Engineering and Data Science.
• Experience developing applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of neural networks, LSTMs, regression, tree‑based models, and SVMs.
• Knowledge of agent planning, reasoning, and execution loops.
• Knowledge of context window management methods.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment in a self‑directed way.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in an AI field.

• Experience with Go.
• Knowledge of vector databases, RAG, and other forms of semantic search.
• Experience with software design patterns.
• Experience with model evaluation and AI quality metrics.
• TS/SCI clearance.
