Mid-Senior Software Development Engineer In Test
Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a Mid-Senior Software Development Engineer In Test with our client in the financial industry. The position is on a long term contract basis, with chance to become a permanent employee if desired. The successful candidate will work in a fast paced environment, with strong Java, SQL & automation testing experience.
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Candidates should have experience throughout all phases of the SDLC; specific testing experience should include:
- Test Case Management: generation, coverage, traceability
- Execution of test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
- Testing system modifications to prepare for implementation
- 5+ years of demonstrable hands-on automation testing experience (Java)
- Good understanding of programming in Java / J2EE
- Ability to analyze and linearize algorithms, and understand how to use data structures correctly
- Strong SQL experience - familiarity with SQL joins, aggregation functions vs analytic functions.
