Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer (Java | Angular | AWS)

Location: Rockville, MD or Tysons Corner, VA

We are looking for a talented Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team building modern, scalable enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the entire technology stack—from intuitive Angular frontends to robust Java and Python microservices running on AWS.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver secure, cloud-native applications while contributing to modern software engineering practices and next-generation AI-enabled solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and Angular.
• Build secure, high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs using microservices architecture.
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using Angular, Type Script, RxJS, and modern frontend best practices.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployments.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, data engineers, and security teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure applications adhere to security, compliance, and software quality standards.

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of Python for backend development.
• 3+ years of Angular development experience using modern versions of Angular.
• Experience with Type Script, RxJS, and state management concepts.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.

• Experience with feature flagging, canary deployments, or progressive delivery.
• Financial services or regulated industry experience is a plus.
