Senior .NET Developer – Azure & AI Solutions

ASSYST is seeking a Senior .NET Developer – Azure & AI Solutions to support our client in designing, developing, modernizing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure and the latest .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET 8/.NET Core, C#, cloud-native application development, and Microsoft Azure, along with hands‑on expertise in implementing AI‑powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AI Agents, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).

This role requires a highly skilled professional who can modernize legacy .NET applications, design scalable cloud‑native solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, high‑performing applications that leverage modern AI capabilities.

• Design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET 8/.NET Core
  .
• Modernize legacy .NET Framework and Web Forms applications into modern .NET 8 and cloud‑native architectures.
• Design and implement scalable cloud‑native solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure services.
• Develop and integrate Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Foundry
  .
• Build and implement AI‑powered solutions using AI Agents, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering techniques, and Git Hub Copilot for Developers
  .
• Develop secure microservices and RESTful APIs while implementing modern API security practices and Microsoft Entra /B2C authentication
  .
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub or Azure Dev Ops
  .
• Utilize containerization technologies to support cloud‑native application deployment.
• Work closely with client stakeholders and technical teams to evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable technical solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, solution assessments, and gap analyses to support application modernization initiatives.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and provide effective, innovative solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to project teams, stakeholders, and leadership while collaborating effectively across cross‑functional teams.

• Expert‑level experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core/.NET 8, and cloud‑native application development.
• Strong experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure
