Role:
Django/Python Developer
Location:
Rockville, MD (Onsite)
- Maintain current Django/Python web applications
- Implement frontend with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (often Bootstrap)
- Build and consume REST APIs (Django REST Framework) and integrate apps with third party applications
- Manage database models and migrations (PostgreSQL)
- Write unit and integration tests
- Use AI to build features and integrate AI/ML models with RAG into Django apps
- Perform unit and system testing for all projects.
- Document all procedures and activities.
- Bachelors in computer engineering or computer science or related field (or equivalent 1–3 years Django/Python experience)
- Understanding of Django ORM, Django REST Framework, views, templates, forms
- Exposure to developing with AI
- Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, PostgreSQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, testing basics
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
