Agile Developer IV

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Agile Developer IV to join our team!

• Design & Blueprint – Create end-to-end, scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures for event-driven services, data pipelines, and search solutions on AWS
• Hands-On Development – Write production-grade Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Lambdas) services that run as AWS Lambda functions or containerized workloads (Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code – Define and maintain IaC, ensuring reproducibility and version control of the entire stack
• Data & Messaging Layer – Architect and implement solutions leveraging DynamoDB, Open Search, SQS, and SNS for high-throughput, low-latency data access and streaming
• Observability & Reliability – Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting via Cloud Watch and custom dashboards
• CI/CD & Dev Sec Ops – Work with Git Lab pipelines, static code analysis, and blue-green/canary deployments
• Technical Leadership – Mentor 2-4 junior developers, conduct code reviews, run architecture deep dives, and champion best-practice adoption (clean code, design patterns)
• Collaboration – Communicate technical details, solutions, and roadblocks to leadership and business stakeholders
• Documentation – Produce clear, up-to-date architectural diagrams, run books, and knowledge base articles; prepare Standard Operating Procedures for frequently executed and on-call operations

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last seven (7) years
• Ability to support an on-call rotation
