Requirements The Senior Salesforce Developer will lead development and technical implementation of the Salesforce platform supporting a CMS case management program, migrating case management functionality from a legacy Pega system to Salesforce. This role builds within the target-state architecture, collaborates closely with the Data team on model and integration design, and guides junior developers on implementation standards.

- Design and execute migration strategy for moving case data, business rules, and workflow logic from Pega to Salesforce with minimal fidelity loss
- Build custom applications and enhancements focused on scalability, reliability, and performance
- Establish and enforce development standards: code quality, testing, deployment practices
- Recommend Salesforce-specific architecture patterns, tools, and integration strategies for Chief Architect review and approval
- Design multi-system integrations between Salesforce and other platforms, particularly AWS, coordinating with the Data Solutions Architect on data flow and governance
- Submit technical design decisions through the program's ADR process
- Implement integrations between Salesforce and other cloud services, ensuring secure and compliant data exchange
- Partner with the Data Solutions Architect on data migration, integration, and cleansing strategy to maintain platform integrity
- Ensure all data handling aligns with CMS ARS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST requirements
- Mentor junior developers and foster development best practices
- Translate CMS business needs, via the Senior Business Analyst, into technical Salesforce solutions
- Lead technical discussions and resolve complex implementation issues within platform scope
- Identify improvements in development process and tooling
- Stay current on Salesforce Government Cloud / Health Cloud advancements relevant to federal case-management use cases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Direct experience with legacy case-management platform migrations
- 3+ years supporting federal contracts, CMS experience strongly preferred
- Deep proficiency in Apex, Lightning components, Flow, and advanced Salesforce configuration
- Experience with Salesforce data management, including large-scale migrations, integrations, and cleansing
- Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud platforms (particularly AWS) using REST APIs and middleware
- Experience working within an architecture governance structure (ADRs, architecture review boards) rather than independent greenfield design
- Strong communication skills, with ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce implementation
- Salesforce Developer / Architect certifications
- Salesforce Government Cloud or Health Cloud experience
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices for Salesforce - CI/CD pipelines, automated testing
- Direct BFCC-QIO or Medicare case-management domain exposure
