Job Summary Python Developer Contractor at Element Fleet Management Role Overview:

• Contract role through end of 2026 (potential extension)
• Hybrid onsite: 3x/week in Hopkins, MN or Owings Mills, MD
• $75/hour W2
• Support the Pricing II program by developing and enhancing Python-based pricing model capabilities for complex deal pricing, financial calculations, and integration with Salesforce and Snowflake.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python pricing calculation modules.
• Build logic for bespoke pricing models, including cashflow, payback periods, payments, tax, and margin calculations.
• Work with Snowflake/data engineering teams to validate and transform pricing inputs.
• Partner with Salesforce developers to integrate Python outputs into Salesforce workflows.
• Support integration with reporting, contract summaries, and pricing outputs.
• Develop unit tests, regression tests, and validation scripts.
• Troubleshoot pricing model defects; support QA, UAT, and production release.
• Document calculation logic, technical design, and dependencies.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, defect triage, release planning).

• 7+ years professional Python development experience.
• Expertise in Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Experience building financial, pricing, or rules-based calculation engines.
• Advanced SQL/No
  
  SQL and Snowflake/cloud data platform experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and integration.
• Strong testing discipline (unit, regression).
• Hands-on Linux, debugging, and performance profiling.
• Experience with Git or similar version control.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Effective communicator, able to work cross-functionally.

• Experience with Salesforce-integrated applications or workflows.
• Fleet management, leasing, finance, or commercial modeling experience.
• Familiarity with cashflow/margin analysis, tax, revenue modeling.
• Experience with Docu Sign, CI/CD, and cloud deployments.

• Python pricing modules for bespoke pricing enhancements.
• Cashflow, payback, payment, tax, and revenue calculation logic.
• Integration-ready outputs for Salesforce, Snowflake, and reporting.
• Unit/regression test evidence and technical documentation.
• Defect fixes and production support.

• Hands-on, detail-oriented Python developer with strong financial/rules-based modeling experience.
