Senior Accountant

Dallas, TX – Hybrid, 3 days onsite. One of Vaco's midmarket clients in the East Dallas area is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead accounting for a newly acquired entity.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close processes.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Generate accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports and management presentations.
• Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and controls are consistently applied and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Communicate effectively with members of the accounting and finance teams across the organization.
• Self‑motivated with extensive U.S. GAAP knowledge, process implementation and internal controls experience.
