Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated private dental practice in Rockwell, TX to find a Patient Coordinator. This is a critical role in the overall success of the practice and the ideal candidate will have previous collections and treatment coordinator experience. Pay for this position is $25-28/hour depending on experience.
ScheduleMonday-Thursday 7a-4p
Duties- Greet patients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
- Handle new patient calls and re-care patient calls.
- Post insurance payments and manage the AR of the practice.
- Prepare and monitor practice statistics and provide to doctor for daily and weekly team members.
- Coordinate marketing projects.
- Coordinate time sheet submittal and payroll submission promptly.
- Coordinate training of new team members on computer software.
- Complete new team member packets in a timely manner.
- Coordinate all vacation schedules and requests for time off with doctor and add to schedule.
- Coordinate training for all newly hired team members.
- Coordinate coverage for team members during sick days, CEU or vacation and fill in for other office personnel as needed.
- Balance petty cash on hand and be accountable for receipts and reconciling.
- Take responsibility for the security and accounting for all cash and checks.
- Make necessary entries to computer, insurance updates, balance updates, payments, etc.
- Ensure insurance claims are submitted electronically and within 24 hours of procedure (making corrections if needed, resubmitting if needed).
- Ensure health of Insurance AR by making sure it is complete by the 10th of each month.
- Run Audit Trail each day.
- Review production and collection reports daily.
- Ensure all team members maintain proper licensure.
- Support consultations as needed.
- Ensure X-ray and maintenance logs are current and compliant.
- Ensure inside and outside of office is kept tidy and neat.
- Previous collections and treatment coordinating experience.
- Experience working in a fee for service office highly desired.
- High school diploma.
