Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated private dental practice in Rockwell, TX to find a Patient Coordinator. This is a critical role in the overall success of the practice and the ideal candidate will have previous collections and treatment coordinator experience. Pay for this position is $25-28/hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday 7a-4p

Duties
  • Greet patients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  • Handle new patient calls and re-care patient calls.
  • Post insurance payments and manage the AR of the practice.
  • Prepare and monitor practice statistics and provide to doctor for daily and weekly team members.
  • Coordinate marketing projects.
  • Coordinate time sheet submittal and payroll submission promptly.
  • Coordinate training of new team members on computer software.
  • Complete new team member packets in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate all vacation schedules and requests for time off with doctor and add to schedule.
  • Coordinate training for all newly hired team members.
  • Coordinate coverage for team members during sick days, CEU or vacation and fill in for other office personnel as needed.
  • Balance petty cash on hand and be accountable for receipts and reconciling.
  • Take responsibility for the security and accounting for all cash and checks.
  • Make necessary entries to computer, insurance updates, balance updates, payments, etc.
  • Ensure insurance claims are submitted electronically and within 24 hours of procedure (making corrections if needed, resubmitting if needed).
  • Ensure health of Insurance AR by making sure it is complete by the 10th of each month.
  • Run Audit Trail each day.
  • Review production and collection reports daily.
  • Ensure all team members maintain proper licensure.
  • Support consultations as needed.
  • Ensure X-ray and maintenance logs are current and compliant.
  • Ensure inside and outside of office is kept tidy and neat.
Qualifications
  • Previous collections and treatment coordinating experience.
  • Experience working in a fee for service office highly desired.
  • High school diploma.
