Service Technician A, B & C;
Lube Technician

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an inventory of standard mechanic tools and ensure special tools are properly stored and returned.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace and perform daily stall cleaning.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and in good condition.
• Complete required training and acquire/maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned; review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned.
• Communicate constructively with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report any safety, welfare, or integrity concerns to management.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policy.
• Attend scheduled hours and breaks as designated by management.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years as an Automotive Service Technician, preferred.
• Education:
  
  High School graduate or equivalent; 18 years or older required.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Manufacturer and ASE certifications or ability to acquire them.
• Other:
  Must be able to work Monday through Saturday with open availability;
  Saturdays are rotating. Specific schedule/hours to be discussed during interview.
