Service Technician – Honda Cars of Rockwall

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and accountable Service Technician to join our team. The role involves performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.;
Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; closed on Sundays. Availability required for any shift Monday through Saturday. Saturday shifts are rotating and will be finalized during the interview.

• Perform repairs as outlined on the repair order, ensuring accuracy and adherence to manufacturer and company standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions.
• Complete all work in compliance with safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to confirm quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using the company time‑clocking procedures.
• Document work performed and test procedures/results on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of normal mechanical tools and return special tools to their proper place.
• Use shop supplies and materials efficiently and economically.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, performing daily stall cleaning.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and in the same condition as received.
• Complete all required training and acquire/maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in technical training and review technical bulletins as required.
• Communicate constructively with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report any safety or security concerns to management.
• Maintain grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards; keep work shirts clean, trousers crease‑free, and belts without buckle design.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Service Technician.

• High school graduate or equivalent; 18 years or older required.

• Availability for any shift Monday‑Saturday, including rotating Saturday schedules.

• Must be eligible for and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.

$15 – $40 per flat‑rate hour depending on qualifications, experience, and certifications.
