Hospitalist Nocturnist

Join our established team in Dallas, Texas, as a Nocturnist Hospital Medicine Physician, where you will provide exceptional patient care during overnight shifts. Practice Info

• Well-established team of 10 physicians and one advanced practice provider (APP) at Texas Health Rockwall.
• Supported by a clinical performance nurse and a practice manager.
• Integral part of the hospital community with strong relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
• EMR is EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Primarily an admitting position.
• Run codes and rapids.
• Manage an average census of 10-11 admits per night.
• Work alongside a Swing physician who assists with admissions from 10 am to 10 pm.

Compensation

• Base of $310,250 annually.
• Eligible for both PPI and PQI bonuses.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time nocturnist role.
• Full-time positions follow a 7-nights-on, 7-nights-off rotation.
• 182.5 shifts a year.
• Flexible schedule that allows for work-life balance.

Requirements

• Open to 2026 graduates.
• ACLS certified.
• Internal medicine only.
• Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
