Overview:
As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you will provide essential obstetric and gynecologic care, ensuring the safety and well-being of new mothers and their babies during weekend shifts. Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Texas
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and management of labor and delivery
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle urgent obstetric situations efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with expedited hospital privileges
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Previous locum tenens or hospitalist experience
• Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
• Prior experience working as a hospitalist or in a similar inpatient OB role

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work weekend shifts
• Possession of ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges, with expedited privileges available for providers with clean files
• Must comply with all licensing, certification, travel, and other applicable reimbursements
