, an ABA Therapy Center in Rockwall, TX, is seeking a Part‑Time Teacher Assistant to support our classroom and therapy programs.

This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in education, psychology, special education, behavior analysis, speech, or occupational therapy who want real‑world experience in a supportive, mission‑driven environment.

Position Overview

As a Teacher Assistant, you will support small‑group instruction and individualized learning for children with autism and related developmental differences. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and clinical staff to help children grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Schedule

• Part‑Time
• Monday & Wednesday
• Flexible hours available (ideal for college schedules)

Daily Responsibilities

• Support small‑group and individual instruction for children with autism
• Assist teachers with lesson implementation and classroom activities
• Support behavior plans and positive behavior strategies
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with classroom and clinical staff to support individualized goals
• Assist with transitions, routines, and daily classroom organization

Required Qualifications

• Interest in working with children with autism or special needs
• Currently enrolled in or pursuing a degree in:

  • Psychology
  • Child Development
  • Special Education
  • Related field
• Ability to follow behavior support plans and classroom procedures
• Must pass background check
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
• Coursework in child development, special education, or behavioral analysis
• Interest in ABA therapy or special education career pathways
