English Preschool Teacher

Spanish Schoolhouse, the largest Spanish Immersion preschool in the country, is growing and we are seeking a English Teacher for our Rockwall location. Come join our mission to create a bigger & brighter future for children!

Responsibilities of an ENGLISH TEACHER include:

• Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students.

• Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.

• Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.

• Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success.

• Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.

• Documenting children's daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress.

• Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.

Requirements of an ENGLISH TEACHER include:

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development

• Previous teaching experience

• Speak, read, and write English fluently
