• Bachelor's Degree (Completion of a Physical Therapy program) is required.
• 2 years of experience in inpatient/acute care is strongly preferred.
• PT – Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License upon hire is required.
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.

• Perform age‑appropriate patient assessment and establish plan of care.
• Obtain/verify physician order for therapy and validate for appropriateness.
• Set appropriate, measurable, functional goals with time frames to address the identified problems, including patient/family goals and preferences.
• Perform age‑appropriate patient treatment.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare personnel as appropriate regarding patient care issues.
• Demonstrate competence in the performance of age‑appropriate patient treatment and individualize care based on age‑specific needs.
• Demonstrate professional accountability.
