Deliver treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving the patient's well-being under the supervising PT;
Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training;
Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to supervising PT, nurse supervisor, or physician;
Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate;
Instruct patients, family, caregiver, and other health-care teammates in therapy areas within the PT assistant scope
