What You'll DoAs our Human Resources Manager, you'll be instrumental in shaping our employee experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Talent Acquisition:
Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from advertising and sourcing to interviewing, testing, and onboarding new hires. - Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for managers, employees, and legal counsel on all HR-related matters, fostering a supportive and compliant workplace. - Benefits Administration:
Manage and administer all employee benefits a program, including insurance, ensuring our team has access to comprehensive support. - HR Compliance & Reporting:
Maintain all HR reports and records in accordance with state and federal laws, and oversee the meticulous upkeep of personnel files. - Leave Management:
Accurately compute, post, and maintain reports related to employee leave and absenteeism. - Safety & Workers' Compensation:
Oversee the Safety Director and assist with all necessary paperwork for work-related incidents and workers' compensation claims. - Policy Adherence:
Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and procedures.

- Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience as an HR generalist or HR Manager. - Education:
A four-year college degree. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. - Tech Savvy:
Computer literate (proficient in MS Word, MS Excel)
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in HR Administration.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements, business trends, professional journals, regulatory laws, and policies & procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Computer literacy (MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Proficient knowledge and application of HR laws and regulations
- Preferred Candidates will have experience with ADP and other HRIS’s.
- Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand.
- Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- When at our plants, the employee will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be, at times, loud.
