- This is a contract-to-hire position through CDW working for our end client. The contract converts to permanent employment with the client after 6 months.
- Candidates must be local and available to work 100% on-site in Rockwall, TX.
We are seeking a collaborative and technically strong .NET Developer to join a growing development team supporting a suite of internally built business applications. This role will work closely with a team of 4 developers (2 senior-level and 2 mid-level engineers) in a highly collaborative, open environment focused on backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and Dev Ops modernization.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on “homegrown” applications that directly impact business operations and wants exposure to Azure Dev Ops and modern CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET
- Support and enhance internally developed business applications
- Work with Azure-based data lakes and SQL Server databases
- Collaborate closely with senior and mid-level developers in a team-based environment
- Contribute to the setup and ongoing improvement of an Azure Dev Ops environment
- Assist with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Support containerized application deployments using Docker and containers
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for version control (Git)
- Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance and data processes
- Strong experience with C# and .NET
- Experience working in a Microsoft technology stack
- Solid backend development experience (data-driven applications)
- Experience with SQL Server
- Familiarity with Azure environments
- Experience or exposure to Docker and containerization
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, open team environment
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience working with Azure Data Lakes
- Experience writing or deploying Bicep templates
- Team of 4 developers (2 senior-level, 2 mid-level)
