Client Service Specialist
The Baldwin Group offers a role for a Client Service Specialist, working closely with advisors, line‑of‑business specialists, and dedicated client servicing professionals to analyze client data, evaluate needs, and help create effective risk management solutions designed to meet clients’ financial goals.
Responsibilities- Prepare documents for presenting risks to market.
- Prepare applications, summaries of insurance, insurance certificates, auto identification cards and other coverage‑related documents.
- Prepare and update draft renewal proposals.
- Assist client service teams in the preparation of presentation materials.
- Analyze and summarize complex data and compile reports with supervision.
- Record data into appropriate insurance company and firm software programs.
- Run cancellation and expiration reports.
- Process and complete endorsements and audits.
- Process Notices of Cancellations.
- Request Loss Runs.
- Quote flood and builder’s risks policies as requested by an Account Manager.
- Handle the renewal of bonds and flood policies.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Look for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes.
- Bring issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.
Strong analytical, research and problem‑solving skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi‑task and work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary.
Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
Education & Experience1 year of experience in the insurance industry required; 2+ years preferred.
Certification(s):
None required;
None preferred.
License(s):
Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required.
