Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance

SPR Packaging is a leading company in the flexible packaging market. We are growing and expanding our team, looking for team members who are seeking a career opportunity that offers growth!

Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm with flexibility required for overtime, and weekends as needed.

Duties:

Must be classified as Class A Mechanic.

Must be able to work all shifts.

Will be required to maintain assigned equipment PM group and respond to production calls.

Must have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to interpret and follow oral and written instructions.

Must be able to enforce all the company safety rules and policies.

Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Must have strong people skills.

Must be able to promote an attitude of teamwork with all shifts, personnel, and departments.

Must be able to provide direction and assistance to all departments.

Must be able to make supervisory decisions when applicable and fill in for Maintenance RL when needed.

Must be able to mentor new hires.

Must be able to monitor and evaluate the associate’s performance.

Must be highly motivated and dedicated to the overall performance of the facility.

Will be the primary contact for shifts that need coverage in the event of absence or vacation if it is your scheduled day off.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively manage time and lead a team of subordinates.

Good organizational skills.

Abilities Required Ability to lift to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces.

Ability of strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to climb 60 feet.

Ability to perform in an environment that is not climate controlled.

Must be able to work un-supervised.
