3Rd Shift Cnc Operator

Position Description

3rd Shift: 9:30pm - 5:30am

• Set up and prove out CNC machines for production. Provide a good first article part to Q.C. Load all tooling and tools.
• Machine fixtures and parts for tooling use in operations.
• Start and shut down CNC machines as trained when required.
• Monitor tools and cutters for proper insertion and dullness.
• Report and bring back to the production manager any broken tools. All tools and cutters will be bought through the production manager.
• Monitor coolant levels and PH levels. Keep machines at 6PH for alum and 10ph for steels.
• Make sure at all times that proper safety procedures are being utilized and work area is clean and safe.
• At any time there is a problem with operation of equipment, or you feel machine is not set up and running in a safe manner; stop running, turn off machine and notify a Supervisor immediately.
• If at any time another employee needs assistance or you see they need help, please offer assistance and or notify a Supervisor.
• Other duties as required by Management.

• Schedule:
  
  8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekends as needed.
