Core responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, budget stewardship, throughput and capacity management, clinical quality (e.g., STEMI door‑to‑balloon performance, anticoagulation and heart‑failure bundles), infection prevention, accreditation and survey readiness, educator collaboration, staff coaching, and committee leadership that champions a friendly, inclusive culture where nurses thrive and patients benefit.
