Position: Registered Nurse/RN Float – Critical Care Full Time Days

Registered Nurse/RN Float – Critical Care Full Time Days

Work location:

Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032

Work hours:

Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Days 7am-7pm including weekends and holidays, no call, self-scheduling – Float to ICU, Emergency, Med Surg, and Telemetry units within the Rockwall hospital

Training

Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire.

Here’s What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma required or
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
  • Texas RN
    - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS
    - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS
    - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • PALS
    - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • CPI
    - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
