Position SummaryAs a Kennel Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the daily care and comfort of the dogs staying with us. This includes feeding, cleaning, administering basic medications, and supervising group play. We’re looking for responsible, hardworking individuals who love dogs, understand canine behavior, and can maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands‑on care for boarding and daycare dogs, including feeding, watering, bathing, and monitoring overall health.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and facility spaces according to established protocols.
- Supervise group play sessions safely and attentively, intervening when necessary to prevent over stimulation or aggression.
- Report any changes in behavior, appetite, or appearance to the supervisor promptly.
- Administer basic medications and supplements as directed by pet owners and management.
- Assist in check‑ins, check‑outs, and client communications as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, medications, and activities.
- Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments confidently and compassionately.
- Uphold our luxury brand image through excellent customer service, professional demeanor, and pride in your work environment.
- Previous animal care or kennel experience preferred, especially in a high‑end or fast‑paced environment.
- Strong understanding of canine body language and group dynamics.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and move quickly for extended periods.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
