What will you be doing?
- Support the EHS Director in implementing and maintaining company-wide safety programs, procedures, and policies.
- Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments across operational areas.
- Assist in incident investigations, participate in root-cause analysis, and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Deliver or support safety training, toolbox talks, orientation programs, and ongoing education for employees and supervisors.
- Monitor workplace conditions to identify unsafe behaviors, hazards, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain safety documentation, logs, and compliance-related records in accordance with OSHA and company requirements.
What do you bring?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety, occupational health, or EHS-related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in safety, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safe work practices, and hazard control methods.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, or safety training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels.
