Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Rockwall, TX 75087

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization, time‑management, and relationships with retailers while serving as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00-$15.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
  • Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, etc.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 5-15 hours per week

  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for completing daily work, communicating with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required merchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
  • Holiday support: During the holiday season (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), you may work additional days and extended hours. On major holidays such as Valentine’s, Mother’s, and Father’s Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
  • Department resets: Occasionally you will join a team to install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments, and reset card sections. You will be notified at least two weeks in advance and may be asked to work evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other team members as needed in their territories.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This is a physically demanding role requiring a high level of energy. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will need to kneel, squat, walk, and stand continuously, and may climb stairs and step ladders.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Proficiency with a handheld digital device to open and read documents.
    • Regular access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
    • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.

    Part‑time employees with a work schedule of less than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits such as dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
