Summary:

Inside Sales / Counter Sales - As a part of our sales team, you are responsible for providing high quality service over the phone, via email, and in person at the counter. You will be creating quotes and formal proposals for electrical projects, managing ongoing jobs, communicating and finding solutions to problems as they arise, reviewing and entering orders into our system, ensuring customers' needs are met in a professional and timely manner, and maintaining a positive attitude while facing competitive, time-sensitive pressures.

When needed, this job will also include work in the warehouse and completing deliveries.

Reports to:

Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

· Sales experience: 1 year

· Customer Service experience: 1 year

Preferred Qualifications:

· Construction experience

· Trades industry experience

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on needed activities and will include warehouse, sales floor, and external environments. Some activities will include lifting (maximum 50 lbs.), sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Create Sales Register, pull material from the warehouse, and fill the order

+ Keep counter area and displays clean, stocked, and neat at all times and assist in maintaining the entire location in a clean and orderly fashion

+ Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone

+ Maintain current customer base

+ Meet established monthly sales goals

+ Communicates and cooperates with outside sales force and/or other departments

+ Timely follow-up on all customer orders, quotes, and materials

+ Maintains up-to-date awareness with new and existing products and services

+ Limited purchasing responsibilities

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $50000 to $60000 annually.
